With the popularity of the branch
of traditional medical system of Ayurveda, the increase in the number
of Ayurveda Colleges was bound to happen. Mumbai has a few Ayurveda
colleges to its credit. The Mumbai Ayurveda Colleges are recognized
by the state and issue certificates which allow the students to practice
this form of medicine independently. Several Ayurveda centers are mushrooming
by the day with the increase in the popularity of this system not only
within India but also abroad. The Mumbai Ayurveda Colleges usually have
campuses which allow a little space for growing important Ayurvedic
herbs and plants that are necessary during the study of this subject.
